Bonjour à  tous,

Je possede une carte mère DFI P2XLX ...

Ma question est :
Dois je monter dessus des barrettes PC100 ou PC133 ; sachant bien sur que si je monte des barrettes PC133, elles fonctionneront !
Mais cela ne sert à  rien d'acheter des 133, si elles ne fonctionnent qu'a 100 !!! C'est logique !

Avec ce type de carte mère, est-ce que je ne suis pas bridé a 128mo par barrette ; soit 384 au total (3 emplacements SDRAM).

pour la ram:
"supports from 8MB to 384MB memory" donc 3 x 128 ca doit passer, mais c'est de la sdram 66! o;
je crois pà´ que cela ce vende encore. Fait un essai avec de la 133 (qui est moins cher que la 100 Mhz) pour voir si elle se bride bien à  66 et si cela tourne...

Oui tout à  fait ! C'est bien cette carte mère !

Bon ok, j'ai 3 barrettes de sdram 128mo en PC100, je vais les monter et le tour est joué ...

Tu me dis que cette CM tourne au niveau de la sdram en 66, peux tu me dire a combien tourne la CM ABIT VH6 - II niveau cadence en sdram ; d'après ce que l'on m'a dit il faut de la PC 100 !!!?

semble tourner avec de la sdram à  100 ou 133 Mhz, si on fait le bon réglage du bios (laisser le fsb à  la même fréquence que le processeur):

One of the nice feature the VH6 is its ability to increase or decrease the RAM speed by 33Mhz. This little feature is great if your want to overclock, but your RAM is not up to snuff. Seeing that most PC-133 RAM can't handle a 150Mhz bus speed, all you need to do is go into the Abit BIOS and reduce the RAM speed by 33Mhz. Now the RAM is running at just 117Mhz, no problem for PC133 RAM or even good quality PC-100 RAM. This works the other way too. If you're running at Celeron 366 at 100Mhz FSB to get 550Mhz and you're using PC-133 RAM, you're not getting the full use of the RAM. With the VH6 you can go into the BIOS and increase the RAM speed by 33Mhz. Now your PC-133 is doing what it was designed to do, run at 133Mhz, while your FSB remains at 100Mhz.</FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>
