salut, mon prob(he oui encore un autre!) est le suivant: souvent en particulier quand j'essaie d'aller sur le chat de wanadoo ou quand je veux telecharger avec direct connect l'ordi se bloque en faisant apparaitre un ecran tout bleu avec ceci inscrit: "xxxStop: 0x000000C5 (0xF87AF020,0x00000002,0x00000000,0x8046B67C)

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If thi is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows 2000 updates you might need.
Run the driver verifier against any new ( or suspect) drivers. If that doesn't reveal the corruption driver, try enabling special pool. Both of these features are intendend to catch the corruption at an earlier point where the offending driver can be identified.
If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

On dirait un driver incompatible (bien qu'avec 98, cela me semble bizarre) ou un problème de barette de ram (à  tester).

oui mais comment puis je savoir quel driver est incompatible? j'ai au fait win2000 pro

C'est là  tout le problème, commence par les périfs externes, à  moins que tu n'aies des soupà§ons sur un en particulier, tu devras les désinstaller un par un, et chaque fois tester ton ordi, voir si le problème se reproduit, et continuer.

Il n'y a pas de solution "toute faite" et en plus, cela pourrait provenir de toute autre chose.
