Je souhaiterai configurer linux pour aller sur le net

J'ai telecharger et installer le logiciel ECI-ASDL <a href="http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download.php" target="_blank">http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download.php</a> lorsque je tape startmodem, j'ai ce message

indentifiant etant mon etendifiant reel de connection
