suite à mon précédent post j'ai rappelé la hotline de free (48 mn en ligne!);bref pleins de manip et en désinstallant et réinstallant les drivers du modem (fast 800 sagem) j'avais une fenètre

puis le conseiller m'a dit de telecharger les derniers pilotes de modem sur le site de free;chose faite; et en lanà§ant l'install,j'ai tjrs la mm fen^tre

This error is caused by a bad version of the file "oleaut32.dll", which usually resides in the system folder. To correct the problem, we will remove the old file and then install the file again.

To correct the problem:
Download the DCOM file appropriate for your system, but do not run it.
For Windows 95, download dcom95.exe
For Windows 98, download dcom98.exe

Windows will restart. Expect this error message: "a required .DLL file, C:windowssystemoleaut32.dll", was not found"
Log into Windows
Select Start, Run, and run the file you downloaded in step 1
Reboot your computer
This should correct the problem.
If, for any reason, this procedure causes your computer to not function properly, reverse the above action as follows:
Select Start, Shutdown
Select "Restart in MS-DOS mode"
When you get the command prompt "c:WINDOWS", enter these commands, each on a separate line:
CD c:windowssystem
rename oleaut32.ww1 oleaut32.dll
exit
Reboot your computer
